Frequently Asked Questions

How does it work?

Secret RF uses microneedles to deliver fractional Radio Frequency (RF) energy into multiple level of the skin, including deep layers where treatment is most beneficial. Unlike other devices which only treat the surface of the skin, Secret RF transports energy deeply in the skin where it’s most effective to stimulate collagen, revitalize and regenerate tissue, and address the common signs of aging. You will feel some heat and pressure in the treatment area during the process and a numbing cream will applied in advance for increased comfort.

The unique energy delivery method of Secret RF permits optimal results on all skin types with little to no downtime.

How long is the treatment session?

Secret RF is an easy, safe and effective procedure that can be performed in a quick, 20-minute session.

How many treatments will I need?

To achieve optimum results, 3 to 4 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, are typical, with most people reporting visible improvements after the second treatment. Maximum results appear about 3 months after the last treatment. Length of treatment results vary based on the individual and maintenance treatments are recommended every 12 to 18 months.

HANDWASHING, MOISTURIZER & THE VIRUS

Tips for Safe & Healthy Hands

Hand washing is critical to help stop the spread of the coronavirus. However, a side effect of frequent handwashing is dry skin that can itch, flake and crack, causing wounds that can allow the entry of bacteria and other germs. Moisturizing your hands after washing is very important step.

  • Wash your hands using lukewarm water for at least 20 seconds. Make sure to thoroughly soap between your fingers and around your nails.
  • Moisturize immediately after washing -- using lotion while your hands are slightly damp will help lock in the moisture.
  • When soap and water are not available, use hand sanitizer. The CDC recommends a sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol to kill germs. Since these can be drying, it is especially important to use a moisturizer afterward. With sanitizer; however, be sure that your hands are completely dry before applying the moisturizer.
  • Using a moisturizer after washing or sanitizing your hands does not negate the effects.
