Coronavirus Information for Fortson Skin CareThe safety of patients and the skincare professionals at The Fortson Center is our number one priority and we are closely monitoring the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
We are meeting regularly to assess the latest developments, review the latest Centers for Disease Control guidelines to monitor any patient symptoms and prepare our staff. We are vigilant in monitoring patient screenings and symptoms and reviewing infection protocols.
The Fortson Center will screen all patients and visitors at point of entry. Specifically, this will be a symptom-based screen where we will ask visitors if they’ve experienced fever, cough or shortness of breath in the previous 48 hours. For any visitor who is well and hasn't experienced any of these symptoms, they'll be able to visit as they normally would.
For patients who are experiencing these symptoms, we request them not to come to The Fortson Center and stay at home for recovery.
